What’s NFT’s for Normies?

My goal in NFT’s for Normies is to provide an analytical, accessible discussion of NFT’s for non-crypto natives, skeptics, and outsiders. After seven months trading NFT’s, I wanted to create a space to discuss NFT’s in an intelligent, ethical fashion.

I want to keep the format and form somewhat open-ended and dynamic, because NFT’s move fast and above all, I want to create content that makes a positive contribution.

So, although I’m not entirely sure what this newsletter will look like or cover as it evolves, I do know what I don’t want to write.

There are enough judgmental discussions of NFT’s declaring the end of civilization. And there are already enough jargon-ridden hype pieces, full of empty promises or scams.  

I want NFT’s for Normies to help tone down those two extremes – and maybe, just maybe, have a little fun while we’re at it. Even though NFT’s and the discourses surrounding them connect to some thorny, important questions about art, technology, society, taste, and economics, a lot of weird things happen.
